Office / Financial Policies

We currently accept Medicaid (Traditional/DentaQuest/MCNA). We are also a provider for children in foster care (Superior Health) and children with special health care needs (Medicaid). We are committed to integrity in our participation in the Texas Medicaid Program and have taken the Inspector General’s Integrity Initiative Pledge to report fraud, waste or abuse.

SCHEDULING
We will do our best to schedule your appointment at a time convenient to you. Know that dental appointments are EXCUSED absences. Each child who is seen during school hours will receive a doctor’s school pass and signature confirming that he/she was seen in our office.

Younger children generally do best with morning appointments, and therefore are given priority for appointments during morning hours. School age children who need treatment also will be given priority for morning appointments for the same reason.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment so that we can assure all forms are complete and updated with the needed information. If you are over 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment as a courtesy to the next scheduled patient who has arrived on time.

We know that unexpected things can happen, but we request that you provide 48 hours notice to our office if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment for any reason.

FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
We accept cash, personal checks, and debit or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express.) Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

INSURANCE POLICY
We accept all insurances and are in-network with several insurance plans. As a courtesy, we will submit insurance claims for you and help you get your bill paid. Please note that insurance companies generally only pay a portion of the bill and you will be responsible for payment of the outstanding balance. We will assist you in estimating what will be your portion of the cost, but we cannot guarantee how your insurance company will handle each claim or for what benefits they pay on a claim.

It is your responsibility to know your insurance coverage and to provide us with the most current insurance information. Bringing your active insurance card to each visit helps avoid any confusion. Please update us with any changes in coverage, including change of policy name, company address, employment, etc.
